BX Series of PU Catalyst-BX-EM23A

BX-EM23A is an organic bismuth-zinc composite catalyst that exhibits the typical characteristics of eco-friendly bismuth-zinc catalysts:

 It is safe and environmentally friendly, and can serve as a replacement for organic lead, mercury, or tin catalysts in certain applications.

 It offers better hydrolysis resistance than T9; however, it may still undergo hydrolysis and lose its catalytic activity in formulations containing water. For applications requiring higher hydrolysis resistance, please consider the AUCAT series.

 It promotes the NCO/OH reaction. In both solvent-based and waterborne polyurethane systems, it can help suppress side reactions between water and NCO groups—thereby reducing CO2 generation—though it is less effective than the CUCAT or AUCAT series at selectively inhibiting the reaction between isocyanates and water.
