Cast iron Castings

Our Cast iron foundry occupies over 130.000 m2, facilitated with resin-sand and shell sand processing line, and 5 tons electric furnace, which can cast parts weight from 0.1kgs up to 10,000kgs, Annual output exceeds 10000 tons.

Zen Young is a cast iron castings manufacturer, specializing in producing both grey and ductile iron castings for pumps, valves, compressors, and other fluid machinery and engineering applications. Our products adhere to various standards, including ASTM A48 Class 30 for grey iron and ASTM A536 65-45-12 and ASTM A536 100-70-03 (quenched and tempered) for ductile iron. Additionally, they offer ASTM A532M KmTBCr26 (A05) and ASTM A439 83 D-5S high nickel alloys. Zen Young also provides austempered ductile iron castings for rail transportation equipment, engineering, and agricultural machinery, meeting ASTM A897 / A897M-061200, 1400, and 1600 standards.

The Benefits of Iron Casting:

Excellent casting properties (low melting temperature, good fluidity). It can be shaped into any complex form and size without requiring expensive machining processes.

Good machinability, especially in graphite cast irons.

Cost-effective compared to other metals.

Strong compressive strength, surpassing that of steel.

Outstanding anti-vibration (or damping) qualities, making it ideal for machine frames.

High sensitivity and precision in applications.

Superior wear resistance.

Consistent mechanical properties in temperatures ranging from 20 to 350°C.

Low notch sensitivity, reducing the risk of cracks.

Low stress concentration.

Durable and resistant to deformation.
