CsI(Na) Scintillators
CsI(Na) Sodium doped Cesium Iodide is one of the brightest scintillators, with a broad emission peaking at 420nm, which makes it well matched to the photo-cathode sensitivity of bialkali photo multiplier (PMT). CsI(Na) scintillator has the relatively high light output, around 85% of NaI (TI) scintillator. Due to its high stopping gamma ray power and excellent mechanical&thermal shock resistance, CsI(Na) scintillator is well suited for well logging, spaced research and other harsh environment applications.
OST Photonics ia able to supply the encapsulated CsI(Na) scintillators and CsI(Na) scintillation detectors upon request. High temperature CsI(Na) scintillators are also available, High temperature CsI(Na) scintillators have excellent mechanical shock resistance, temperature shock resistance and long lifetime, and can withstand high temperature above 150℃.
