What types of gasket are available for drum closures?
PE gasket, EPDM gasket and black buna gasket are available for drum plugs. EPDM gasket and black buna gasket are available for drum flanges. Special formulated gaskets are available on requirements.
Does XEAL® drum closure adaptive to other brands in the market?
XEAL® drum closure follows ISO standards, and it is able to adapt standard drum plug or drum flange manufacturered by other companies. However, using drum plug and drum flange produced by the same manufacturer is helpful for better sealing.
What are the applications of plastic bung?
Generally, XEAL® plastic bung includes fine thread plastic bung and coarse thread plastic bung. Fine thread plastic bungs are mainly used on steel drums, and they could fit into standard drum flanges. Coarse thread plastic bungs are mainly used for plastic containers, and there are dozens of designs to seal different mouths of plastic drums.
How to install plastic spout caps onto containers?
The neck design of plastic spout caps are different. Some of the plastic spout caps are designed to be push-on, pushing spout cap into lid will seal the container. Special equipment is necessary to install other types of spout caps, for example, crimping tool and ultrasonic welding machin.
