Isocyanate Silane/Isocyanurate

Unique isocyanato silane which have strong reactivity, used as crosslinker and adhesion promoter in adhesives and sealants. Offers fast hydrolysis in the presence of atmospheric moisture and very good thermal, chemical and UV stability. Mainly used for silyl-modified polyurethane polymer (called SPUR polymer), as crosslinking agents for polyurethane polymers, as modifiers for silane-modified polymers (SMP) or MS polymers.

How does taic triallyl isocyanurate Silane Improve Adhesion?

Isocyanate silane improves adhesion by functioning as a coupling agent in various applications. Its sodium isocyanurate functional group readily reacts with surface hydroxyl groups on substrates like glass, metals, or polymers. This forms strong covalent bonds, creating a durable connection between the treated surface and adhesives, coatings, or sealants. This enhanced adhesion not only improves the performance but also ensures the reliability of the bonded materials, particularly in industries where strong and long-lasting bonds are crucial, such as construction, automotive, and aerospace.

Advantages of Isocyanate Silane/Isocyanurate

Currently, the most commonly used isocyanate silanes on the market are 3-isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane (TESPI) and 3-isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane (IPTS). Tris 2 3 dibromopropyl isocyanurate which have strong reactivity, used as crosslinker and adhesion promoter in adhesives and sealants. Provides adhesion to a variety of substrates, both conventional and unusual, superior wet adhesion to glass, metal and other inorganic substrates, good adhesion to difficult substrates. Offers fast hydrolysis in the presence of atmospheric moisture and very good thermal, chemical and UV stability.
