Rock wool slab
Rock wool strips are made of high-strength rock wool boards cut into specific structures, so they have high compressive strength and excellent fire resistance. The rock wool products are used as fillers for rock wool sandwich panels and provide good fire resistance for wall panels and roof panels. Various specifications of products produced using chemical quick-drying adhesives and mechanical curing technology have made an important contribution to creating a safe, high-quality exterior wall with good constant temperature insulation and sound insulation.
Production materials
Rock wool strips are made of natural basalt as the main raw material. After high-temperature melting, they are made into artificial inorganic fibers by high-speed centrifugal equipment, and special adhesives and dust-proof oils are added.
Rock wool slab features
Sound absorption/sound insulation: The open structure of rockwool sound slab provides excellent sound absorption/sound insulation performance. Fire resistance: This product is tested as a non-flammable product using the ASTM E-136 standard.
Compressive strength: Wholesale rock wool strips are made of corrugated boards, and the fibers are upright in the assembly line process, so they can bear high loads.
5%: Pressure resistance>25Kpa; 10%: Pressure resistance>40Kpa.
Moisture resistance: Rockwool acoustic slabs are waterproof and have a good ability to release water vapor pressure to the roof structure.
Physical properties
Chemical and biological properties: The pH value of rock wool strips is 7 or slightly alkaline, and meets the requirements of ASTM-C-795, JIS-A-9504 standards, so it cannot normally meet the growth of mold, fungi, and bacteria. The fireproof time thickness of rock wool strips is limited to 100120min, 8060min, and 5030min.
Rock wool strips applications
Building rock wool boards have excellent fireproof, heat-insulating and sound-absorbing properties. It is mainly used for thermal insulation and sound insulation of building walls and roofs; fire prevention and noise reduction of building partitions, firewalls, fire doors and elevator shafts. It is suitable for pipeline insulation and heat insulation in the power, petroleum, metallurgy, and shipbuilding industries, especially for small-mouth straight pipelines. The construction is convenient and quick. Waterproof rock wool board tube has the special functions of moisture-proof, heat dissipation and water-repellent. It is particularly suitable for use in rainy and humid environments. The moisture absorption rate is less than 5% and the water-repellent rate is more than 98%.
• Fire Isolation Zones: Acoustic slab insulation is commonly used in fire isolation zones and composite rock wool boards, providing essential fire protection in critical areas.
• Exterior Wall Insulation: In regions like Anhui, Chongqing, and Sichuan, our strips are used on the exterior walls of buildings, enhancing energy efficiency and safety.
• Industrial and Marine Applications: Suitable for insulation and sound insulation of industrial equipment, buildings, and ships, our strips are a versatile solution for various industries.
• Building Construction: Ideal for thermal insulation and sound insulation of building walls and roofs, as well as fire prevention and noise reduction in partitions and firewalls.
• Marine and Hydrophobic Insulation: Marine rock wool boards are used for thermal insulation and fireproof partitions of ships, while hydrophobic rock wool boards are used in vehicles and humid environments for moisture-proofing.
