VISA FREE COUNTRIES TO TRAVEL TO VIETNAM

Following the reopening of Vietnam’s borders to tourism, the Vietnamese government reinstated visa exemptions for a number of countries. According to Vietnam’s visa exemption policy, you can stay in the country for 15 days without asking for a Vietnam visa. You can extend your stay in Vietnam by apply Vietnam visa or requesting an extension of your stay time. You will not be permitted to stay longer than the duration of your visa exemption.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR VIETNAM

Foreigners must now possess the following requirements in order to enter Vietnam:

 

  • A valid entry document (it could be Vietnam visa/temporary residence card/permanent resident card) is required.

  • A passport that has eligibility of at least six months after the date of arrival is required.

  • A negative Covid-19 test certificate, which can be a negative Covid-19 RT-LAMP or RT-PCR test performed within 72 hours of departure for Vietnam; OR

  • a negative Covid-19 fast antigen test performed within 24 hours of departure for Vietnam.

  • COVID-19 treatment is covered by health insurance you will apply for with a minimum liability of $10,000 USD.
