Key Features
Hygienic and Safe for Drinking Water: The GRP material and SMC panels ensure a clean internal surface, making the tank suitable for potable water storage without contamination risks.
Corrosion-Resistant and Rust-Free: Unlike metal tanks, the GRP structure does not rust, ensuring long-term water quality and significantly reduced maintenance costs over time.
Modular Sectional Design: The panel-based system allows for easy international transportation, flexible installation in tight spaces, and efficient assembly at project sites.
High-Strength SMC Panel Construction: SMC molded panels provide strong mechanical performance and structural stability, specifically engineered for medium-capacity water storage.
Customizable Design: Tank size, dimensions, panel thickness, and reinforcement can be customized to meet the specific requirements of different potable water systems.
Long Service Life: With proper installation and maintenance, the tank is designed to operate reliably for more than 20 years.
Structure & Working Principle
The GRP Sectional Water Tank is composed of modular fiberglass panels that are assembled on-site using a bolted connection system. Each panel is precision-molded to ensure structural consistency and strength. Sealing materials such as food-grade EPDM are installed between panels to create a watertight structure.
Internally, stainless steel reinforcements distribute water pressure evenly, maintaining tank stability even at full capacity. The sectional design allows flexible assembly, transportation, and installation, making the GRP Sectional Water Tank ideal for projects with limited access or special dimensional requirements.
1. Panels (Bottom panel, wall panel, roof panel and manhole)
2. Internal parts (Internal ladder, tiepiece rod, support, flanges and rubber). The material can be galvanized steel, stainless steel or fiberglass.
3. External parts (External ladder, angle iron, bolts and nuts). The material can be galvanized steel and stainless steel.
4. C/U-steel base (surface treatment can be painted, hot dipped galvanized or stainless steel). Customization is available.
Roof Panel is Flat, will not store water on the top and leak into tank.
