331 series tapered roller bearings are separated bearings with conical raceways in both inner and outer rings. The inner ring and a set of conical rollers are enclosed by a basket cage into an inner ring assembly, and the outer ring can be separated from the inner ring assembly. This design allows complete interchangeability between the outer ring and the inner component, especially for applications where combined loads need to be adapted.
