Fiberglass E-Grade Fabric

Fiberglass E-Grade Fabric (E-glass fabric) is a high-performance woven material made from alkali-free aluminum borosilicate glass fibers. It offers excellent electrical insulation, high tensile strength, chemical resistance, and heat resistance up to 600°C, making it widely used in industrial insulation and composite applications.

Key Characteristics of Fiberglass E-Grade Fabric

Mechanical Properties

E-glass fabric has excellent strength, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion and vibration. Its high strength-to-weight ratio makes it ideal for reinforcing high-performance composite materials.

Thermal Properties

E-glass has low thermal conductivity and can withstand temperatures above 600°C. It is non-combustible and suitable for high-temperature insulation.

Chemical Resistance

Fiberglass E-Grade Fabric is resistant to oils, solvents, and most chemical agents. It is also rot-proof and highly durable in harsh environments.

Dimensional Stability

Glass fibers have a low expansion coefficient and remain stable under temperature and humidity changes.

Electrical Insulation

E-glass fibers provide excellent electrical insulation even at very thin thicknesses, making them suitable for electrical and electronic applications.
