How to use polyester high temperature leveling agent
Using a polyester high temperature leveling agent is straightforward but requires attention to detail. First, determine the appropriate dosage based on the fabric weight and desired effect. Typically, the agent is added to the dye bath or finishing solution at a concentration of 0.5% to 2% of the fabric weight. Ensure the dye bath is properly mixed to evenly distribute the leveling agent. The fabric is then immersed in the solution at the required high temperature, usually between 130°C and 180°C, for a specified period, often 30 to 60 minutes. During this time, the agent works to reduce surface tension and promote even dye distribution. After processing, rinse the fabric thoroughly to remove any residual chemicals. Proper use of the leveling agent ensures uniform color and improved fabric quality, making it an essential step in high-quality polyester textile production.
