Solar integrated” generally refers to the integration of solar energy systems into buildings or other structures. Solar integrated systems, also known as Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), are a type of solar power solution where the solar panels are integrated directly into the building materials, such as roofing, windows, or facades. Unlike traditional solar panels, which are mounted on top of existing structures, BIPV products serve a dual purpose by both generating electricity and functioning as building materials.

JM Solar, a professional solar integrated solution provider in China, is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to R&D of solar modules, on/off/hybrid solar systems, lithium batteries, and ESS. With overseas branches and a professional team in support, JM Solar not only manufactures solar products but also designs, invests in, and installs solar systems across the Chinese mainland. We have invested in 100MW of solar systems.

● Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV): Solar cells are integrated directly into building materials, such as windows, roofing tiles, or facade elements. BIPV systems are designed to replace traditional building materials while generating electricity.

● Building-Attached Photovoltaics (BAPV): Solar panels are mounted onto the roof or walls of a building using a separate mounting system. This is a common approach for retrofitting existing buildings with solar technology.

● Solar Thermal Integration: Solar thermal collectors are integrated into a building’s design to provide hot water heating, space heating, or cooling through absorption chillers.

● Solar Lighting: Solar-powered lighting systems that are integrated into the building’s design, providing illumination using solar-generated electricity.

● Smart Grid Integration: Connecting solar power systems to a smart grid that optimizes the distribution and management of electricity, enabling efficient energy use and potentially allowing for energy trading.
