Knowledge About Stainless Steel Faucets

If there is a leak at the Stainless Steel Faucets connector, it may be caused by damage to the water stop tape of the faucet. Therefore, just use the wrench to remove the faucet, and re-roll the new waterproof tape on the place of the fixing screw. The following are the repair steps:

1. First tighten the faucet, use a wrench to turn the faucet counterclockwise to remove it;

2. With the threaded hole facing outwards, roll up 5-6 layers with tape in the threaded part clockwise;

3. After the faucet is adjusted, screw it in clockwise with a water wrench;

4. Open the main gate to confirm whether there will be water leakage.

Even if the faucet is tightened, if water still leaks, there may be the following reasons:

(1) Water leakage at the water outlet: It is caused by the wear of the shaft gasket in the faucet, and it can be solved by replacing the shaft gasket with a new one.(2) Leakage in the lower gap of the faucet plug: it is caused by the wear of the triangular seal in the gland. Remove the gland after loosening the bolt head, take out the triangular seal on the inside of the gland, and replace it with a new one.(3) Water leakage at the junction of the takeover: it is due to the loosening of the cap nut. Re-tighten the cap nut or put on a new U-shaped gasket.
