What Are Lockout Padlocks？
Lockout padlocks also referred to as LOTO padlocks or safety lockout padlocks are purpose built industrial padlocks used to physically secure energy isolation points during maintenance repair or equipment servicing. Unlike standard security padlocks lockout tagout padlocks are designed to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 compliance requirements. They must be substantial standardized and identifiable.
Every safety padlock in our range features a non conductive thermoplastic or metal body color coded housing for department identification and unique key configurations to ensure only the authorized worker can remove the lock.
