Temperature/Humidity Combined Cycle Test
The temperature/temperature combined cycle test is mainly used for component test samples to determine the endurance performance of the test samples under the effects of high temperature/high humidity and low temperature degradation in an accelerated manner. It is mainly used to reveal the defects of the test sample caused by the “breathing” effect different from moisture absorption.
The temperature/temperature combined cycle test is different from other damp heat cycle tests. The severity level of this test has been increased due to the following reasons:
a) There are more temperature changes or “breathing” effects in a given time;
b) A wider range of temperature cycle changes;
c) The rate of temperature cycle change is higher;
d) Including multiple temperature changes below 0℃.
The accelerated “breathing” and the icing effect of moisture adsorbed in the gaps of the test sample are the basic characteristics of this test.
