Three-piece flange ball valve

A 3-piece flanged ball valve is an industrial ball valve with a body assembled from three separate bolted sections: two end bodies (with flanged pipe connections) and one center body (which houses the ball, seats, and stem). The three sections are clamped together by external tie bolts running between the two end bodies.

This modular three-piece construction delivers a defining maintenance advantage over 1-piece and 2-piece body designs: the center body can be completely removed from between the two end bodies — with the end bodies remaining bolted permanently in the pipeline — giving full access to the ball, seats, and stem seals without disturbing the pipeline alignment or requiring pipe section removal.

The flanged end connections on both end bodies conform to international flange drilling standards (ANSI B16.5, DIN EN 1092-1, JIS B2220), providing a mechanically secure, pressure-rated, and gasket-sealed connection to the pipeline at both inlet and outlet.

Key Features

Three-piece Modular Design: The unique three-piece construction enables straightforward disassembly, facilitating easy access to internal components like the ball, seats, and seals for inspection, cleaning, and replacement.

Flange Connection: The ball valve is equipped with flanged ends, which provide a stable and leak-proof connection to the pipeline.

High Pressure and Temperature Resistance: Constructed from premium-grade materials, the three-piece flange ball valve can withstand extreme operating pressures and temperatures.

Full Bore Flow: Engineered with a full bore design, the valve offers unobstructed fluid passage, resulting in minimal pressure drop.
