10Ah Cylindrical High-rate Sodium-ion Battery Cell-EV10
The EV10 10Ah cylindrical sodium ion battery cell is developed for battery packs and applications that require high discharge capability, wide-temperature operation and long cycle life.
With a 3C / 30A discharge rate, ≥110Wh/kg energy density and more than 3,000 cycles, the EV10 provides a compact sodium-ion cell platform for automotive starting battery packs, power tools, backup power, marine systems and other high-power battery applications.
The EV10 sodium ion battery cell supports a 30A / 3C discharge rate, making it better suited to applications where power delivery is more important than simply maximizing cell capacity.
This makes the cell suitable for battery systems that experience short-duration high-current loads, including:
Automotive starting battery packs
Power tools and industrial equipment
Backup power systems
Marine and recreational vehicle battery packs
Other high-rate sodium ion battery applications
Wide Operating Temperature Range
The EV10 has a specified operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, allowing battery systems to be developed for environments where conventional battery performance may be affected by temperature extremes.
Its low-temperature capability is particularly useful for automotive, outdoor equipment, backup power and mobile applications operating in cold climates.
Actual charge and discharge performance may vary with temperature, current, SOC and battery pack design.
