Onlink provides insert overmolding services for OEM components that combine metal inserts, conductive terminals, wires or preformed parts with engineering thermoplastics in a single molded structure.
During insert overmolding, the prepared insert is accurately positioned inside a custom mold before molten resin is injected around part or all of the insert. The result is an integrated component in which the insert and molded plastic perform mechanical, electrical, insulating, sealing or positioning functions together.
