Physio-Control LIFEPAK 1000 Replacement AED Battery 11141-000156

Product Description

Physio-Control LIFEPAK 1000 defibrillator supports two primary battery options depending on your operational needs.

1. Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery

The most common choice for public access AEDs due to its low maintenance.

Chemistry: Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li/MnO2).

Standby Life: Approximately 5 years if installed in an unused device.

Capacity: Typically provides 440 discharges at 200 joules or roughly 17 hours of “ON” time.

Low Battery Warning: When the low battery indicator first appears, at least 30 shocks or 75 minutes of operating time remain.

Disposal: Usually sold as a kit (Part #11141-000100) that includes a battery discharger for safe disposal.

2. Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery

This type is suited for environments with frequent use, such as EMS.

Chemistry: Lithium-ion (Li-ion).

Charging Time: Takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge.

Standby Life: A full charge lasts around 6 months.

Capacity: Provides approximately 261 discharges at 200 joules or 600 minutes of operation.

Requirement: An external Physio-Control battery charger is needed and sold separately.

As a critical type of medical device battery, an AED battery(Automated External Defibrillator battery) is the dedicated power source ensuring a defibrillator is always ready for life-saving emergencies.
