Round FRP Cooling Tower

Round frp cooling tower is an industrial cooling equipment made of fiberglass material, which mainly uses counter current heat exchange technology to achieve circulating water cooling. It is widely used in chemical, power, and central air conditioning systems. This device has the characteristics of lightweight, corrosion resistance, energy saving, and low noise, with a capacity typically covering 10 to 1000 tons.

The circular fiberglass cooling tower uses direct contact between water and air for heat and moisture exchange, utilizing the latent heat of vaporization absorbed by water evaporation to reduce water temperature. The core operational process and structural components are as follows:

Heat exchange process: Hot water is evenly distributed on the surface of the packing material through a water distribution system to form a water film. Dry air enters from the bottom driven by a fan and comes into contact with the water flow in the opposite direction, taking away heat and being discharged from the top. The cooled water droplets enter the collection tray and return to the circulation system.

Tower body and filler: the tower body is made of polyester glass fiber reinforced plastic, light in weight, high in strength and corrosion resistant, and the surface gel coat contains anti ultraviolet agent to resist aging; Modified PVC or PP corrugated sheets are commonly used as fillers, with a temperature resistance range of -50 ℃ to 70 ℃. PP fillers that can withstand 120 ℃ can be selected for high temperature conditions.

Power and Water Distribution: Equipped with a dedicated low-noise fan and variable pole variable speed motor, supporting dual speed or three speed adjustment for energy saving; The water distribution device adopts a rotary or tubular type to ensure low water pressure and uniform water distribution. Some models have water pressure driven rotary water distributors that can be automatically adjusted. ‌‌
