Sorbitol Solution
Sorbitol Solution is a concentrated aqueous liquid form of D-Sorbitol (≈70% solids), meeting USP (United States Pharmacopeia) and FCC (Food Chemicals Codex) standards. It functions as a humectant, sweetener, plasticizer, and excipient in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products. Because of its non-cariogenic sweetening power and regulatory approvals, it is suited for high-quality product formulations.
Sorbitol tastes sweet, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol and acetic acid absorb a lot of heat when dissolved in water, has cool and refreshing taste, it can chelate with metal ions, stable chemical properties, does not react with acid and alkali, it doesn’t have Mailard reaction with soluble amino compound, the microbial resistance is stronger than the corresponding sugar.
At room temperature, it is a colorless transparent sweet viscous liquid, it can dissolve in the water in any ratio.

Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical: vehicle in syrups, suspensions; excipient in chewable tablets, lozenges.
Cosmetics: creams, pastes, moisturizers—texture, moisture retention. Used as humidifier and softner in cosmestic production.
Industrial uses: adhesives, plasticizers, coatings, tobacco humectants. 70 Sorbitol Liquid Solution also is used as raw material in producing emulsifier, plasticizer, disincrustant, binder.
Non-crystallizing versions add value where clarity and shelf stability are needed (e.g. syrups, oral liquids).
