Tension Clamp for Earth Wire
Tension clamp for earth wire is designed to non-rigidly secure installation cables to brackets, fasteners on buildings, or utility poles. Tension clamp for earth are installed at the beginning and end of cable runs, suspensions, branches and turns.
Overhead line fitting Features
High Grip StrengthGrip strength ≥95% RTS, with rated breaking load up to 30kN. Meets IEC 61284 and GB/T 2315 performance requirements for dead-end fittings on overhead transmission lines.
Even Load DistributionThe preformed helical wires make full-length contact with the earth wire surface, eliminating the stress concentration at the clamp exit point that causes fatigue cracking in bolt-type and compression-type designs.
Tool-Free InstallationNo hydraulic press, crimping machine, or special tools required. Installation is completed by hand, reducing on-site labor time and eliminating the risk of installation error from improper compression.
Corrosion ResistantStandard finish: hot-dip galvanized steel. Optional aluminum-clad steel wire construction for coastal environments, high-humidity regions, or projects specifying enhanced corrosion resistance.
Vibration DampingThe helical contact structure absorbs aeolian vibration energy along the wire, reducing fatigue accumulation at the termination point — particularly important on long-span transmission lines exposed to prevailing winds.
