Water Purification Equipment

Water Purification Equipment

Pure water (deionized water) is required at three critical points in every electrophoretic coating line process:

(1) diluting the original paint concentrate when charging or replenishing the bath

(2) pre-rinsing workpieces immediately before entering the electrophoresis tank to remove surface contaminants, and (3) post-electrophoresis rinsing to remove residual bath solution from the coating film surface before curing.

Lendeer’s water purification systems are an essential auxiliary unit of electrophoretic coating equipment, converting ordinary tap water into process-grade pure water that meets the stringent conductivity standards required by both acrylic and epoxy electrophoretic paint systems. Fully automatic, PLC-controlled, and sized to match your production line’s water demand, each system is designed for reliable, unattended operation.

Why Pure Water Equipment Quality Matters — Conductivity Standards

Water Type

Conductivity Requirement

Applicable Paint System

High-Purity Deionized Water

< 3 μS/cm

Acrylic electrophoretic paint (requires ultra-low ionic strength)

Standard Pure Water

< 10 μS/cm

Epoxy cathodic e-coat (CED) — standard industrial requirement

Tap Water (reference)

200 – 800 μS/cm (typical)

NOT suitable for any e-coat application without treatment

Note: Conductivity is the only water quality parameter specified for e-coat process water. The water purification system is engineered to reliably achieve and maintain the target conductivity for your specific paint system.
